There is only ONE boat service going TO Isla Verde each day. It leaves Tabangao Aplaya at about 9am. DO NOT Miss the boat. Arrive Early.
There is also only ONE boat service back FROM Isla Verde each day. The boat leaves from the resort at Isla Verde at about 4am.
The owners of our carrier, the 'St. Paul', have finished building their new boat. It is also called 'St Paul' and is now servicing our resort.
Once you are at the beach area, Please ask for Kuya Manding, Pangulong Buhay (the Captain of the St Paul) or Alvin (the Alternative Captain). Tell the boat crew you are going to Tita Jo at Isla Verde.
The boat fare is 200 pesos per person one way. It will cost another 200 Pesos per pax when you get on the boat to leave Isla after your visit.
You will be shown where to wait and told when the boat is ready to board.
Most times the crew will be expecting you, and they will take you ashore right at at the resort.
Occasionally the sea conditions are not good for the boat to bring you right to the resort. Ask the boat crew when you arrive at the alternate place. It is a pleasant walk to the resort, and not too far.
To arrive in time to catch the boat to Isla Verde, you will need to leave Paranaque about 4.00am or 5.00am. That should get you to Batangas City Grand Terminal around 6.30am to 7.30am
Travel time is about 1.5 to 2 hours and fare is around PHP 160 pesos from Pasay to Batangas City.
When you arrive at Batangas City Grand Terminal, find a tricycle and ask the driver to take you to Tabangao Aplaya. Tricycle cost is about PHP 350 pesos and takes about 30-45 minutes. A tricycle can usually take up to 3 passengers.
If you prefer to go by jeepney, take a jeepney to Bagong palengke, bayan then look for another jeepney with the signboard that says it is going to Tabangao. Tell the driver you need to be dropped off at Tabangao Aplaya for the boat.
If you are taking your private car from Manila take the SLEX and exit to star tollways Batangas city Take the STAR to the Batangas exit and head towards Batangas city.
Then take Balagtas road. You will pass Don Carlos. After Don Carlos, the road is one way. Turn left before the gate of Capitolyo with sign board to SM and continue until you see the stop light at the corner with the 7-11 store.
Turn right. You will pass Libjo, Arambulong, Malampaya plant. After the the plant the road curves. Slow down and look for the Jeepney Terminal and General milling factory.
There is an access road to Aplaya here. Turn Right here and follow until you get to the beach area, then park your car and look for kuya Ramil or kuya Omar and tell the crew you are going to Tita Jo on Isla Verde.
Travel time to Aplaya from Manila can be 2.5 to 3 hours or more. Make sure you arrive at Tabangao Aplaya by 8.00am to have time to unload, park your car and board the vessel. Don't be late - they will not wait.
When you get to Aplaya, look for Jason. He will arrange parking for your car and show you where to find kuya Ramil or kuya Omar. Parking will cost 100 pesos per day.
